Visnye
38 km southwest from Kaposvár, among the hills covered with forests we find one of the most hideous and most intangible settlements. We should accentuate Visnyeszéplak where such people found their home who desired a humanistic life based on traditions. Primarily they are Catholics who consider the collective spiritual ties important thus they still cherish the religious feast days and the related traditions. The peculiarity of the villagers is hidden in them, they keep the principles of sustainability beside which they follow the traditions in architecture as well as in craftmanship. Among the local sightseeings we should mention the grave of the outlaw Pali which is found here and it is worth learning the story of his life.
