Szilvásszentmárton
It is a village in the middle of the Zselic Nature Protection Area, in the valley of the Berki stream, 14 km south from Kaposvár. The Valley of the Berki stream meandring among the Zselic hills is surrounded by protected forests, arable land and vineyard hills. The Village Community House was finished in 1994 and the doctor’s surgery found its place here. In its attic a backpack tourist hostel was opened. Continuous greening of the village, the playground and the entirely renovated pavement much rose the comfort of the villagers. Local spot is the walkaround path around the lake in a romantic, clean surrounding which gives visitors a marvellous relaxing.
