Rinyakovácsi
Rinyakovácsi is a village found northeast from the Lábodi Rinya stream, within the triangle of Kadarkút, Csököly and Gige. Its name refers to the medieval blacksmiths (kovács) while the first part of the name explains its location next to a stream. The first written information about this village populated as early as the prehistoric times, go back to the beginning of the 14th century. In the 16th century it was destroyed and straed to be poplulated again in the 1720s. As a puszta it belonged to Gige at that time. The immigrating Protestants in the 18th century had -probably- represented a majority because they could build even a church.
