This little village is located 15 km southwards from Kaposvár, along the road to Szigetvár in a long, narrow valley. Timid slopes, dense forests are embracing it and casting a glance down the hilltop we enjoy a pictoresque setting. It is an area very rich in game, there are many wild boars, deers, roes and hares. Protected species are also present as badger, weasel, stork, heron, wild duck and other waterfowls. Vörösalma the near hunting site is also very popular and visited by those who wish to hunt for antlers. In the village we can also find a deer farm which is a very interesting tourist destination.
